The Fourth World Families Association fights for access to rights for all and equal treatment in all areas of life (education, training, culture, health, social benefits, etc.). It welcomes all people and their precarious circumstances, encouraging encounters, sharing and commitment.
Founded in Renens in 1979 and still present at the Bourg-Dessus house, this association has also developed several branches in the canton of Vaud, in order to reach out to disadvantaged people living in outlying regions. It currently has activities in Vallorbe and Sainte-Croix. Welcome sessions and discussion groups are organized there.

The association’s activities are numerous, varied and for everyone:
- Welcoming moments
- Individual coaching/support
- Parenting support services
- Training courses
- Discussion groups
- Awareness raising initiatives
- Community meals
- Cultural and recreational activities
« The majority of our activities are set up with the involvement of the Association’s beneficiaries. Our team of professionals works with them, supporting and advising them, while promoting their skills. Through this process, families in precarious situations gradually regain their self-confidence and self-esteem, and reverse the downward spiral of marginalization to enter a virtuous spiral ».
