Lope Santos III
National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC)
Lope is the Executive Secretary of the National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC), the principal government body that coordinates and implements the country’s social reform and poverty alleviation efforts. In this capacity, Lope has been instrumental in improving the living standards of many people living in poverty in the Philippines.
Previously Lope served as a Director at Department of Education responsible for the Learner Support Services and prior to that as advisor to the South East Asian Regional Centre for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA).
He graduated from the Technological University of the Philippines.
