Joan Nyanyuki
African Child Policy Forum
Joan is a human rights and gender equality champion who previously served as Executive Director of Coalition on Violence against Women supporting local community organisations and leading advocacy efforts to uphold women’s rights.
She also previously served as Regional Director for Amnesty International and is currently Executive Director of the African Child Policy Forum.
Joan received her medical degree from Moi University, Kenya and worked as a general physician early in her career and later undertook advanced graduate work in human rights at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
