Citizen Movement of Physically Disabled People of Southern Haiti (MCPHPSH).

Chrismaine Sévère is founder and secretary general of the Citizen Movement of Physically Disabled People of Southern Haiti (MCPHPSH).

She is founder and General Secretary of the citizen’s movement of physically disabled people in southern Haiti (MCPHPSH). She is also the co-ordinator for the Sud fund and public relations manager for “Le Sud Kanpe”, an inclusive socio-political movement in the Sud region whose aim is to defend the region’s economic, social, cultural and political interests.

She has other commitments as an environmental activist (GAFE), agricultural technician and student of Legal Sciences.

In her messages to the forum, she often talks about the suffering of Haitians and the need to take care of the land and the people to keep hope alive.

 

Today, she affirms: “I am committed to helping, to spreading the word about the book ‘Ravine L’Espérance’, a book written as a tribute to the courage of people whose lives are very difficult.”
