Hassimi Sanogo
Hassimi SANOGO is the president of the association “Let’s Save the Environment, Drinking Water, and Sanitation
for All” (SEEPAT). He founded it with his colleagues and former coworkers in 2013 to help fight poverty by providing communities with access to drinking water and sanitation. The association also works to protect the environment.
SEEPAT is an association made up of volunteers from Burkina Faso. The organization has significantly improved the living conditions of more than 100,000 people in the Hauts-Bassins region of Burkina Faso. These efforts have been recognized with two awards: the “Water and Sanitation Trophy” in 2018 and the award for Best Ecological Innovation at the Abidjan Ecology Awards in 2021.
In 2015, SEEPAT published an article on the Forum for the Eradication of Poverty. This reflects the association’s commitment to the fight against poverty and for human dignity. The association is a member of the Forum because it provides an opportunity to foster dialogue among those engaged in this fight against poverty.
“Let us reject poverty by standing with the poorest so that they may live with dignity.”
