The Concept Note from the International Committee for October 17 is ready!
It is the result of the consultation held in February with the network of individuals, groups, associations, and organizations that make up the Forum on Overcoming Extreme Poverty.
This consultation allowed us to prepare the theme for this year’s Day. The Concept Note is an advocacy tool.
It provides insight into the 2025 October 17 theme:
“Ending Social and Institutional Maltreatment: Ensuring respect and effective support for families living in poverty“
It includes powerful testimonies and key ideas shared during the consultation. It is also a very helpful resource to prepare for the Day’s commemoration.
