The Concept Note from the International Committee for October 17 is ready!
It is the result of the consultation held in February with the network of individuals, groups, associations, and organizations that make up the Forum on Overcoming Extreme Poverty.
This consultation allowed us to prepare the theme for this year’s Day. The Concept Note is an advocacy tool.
It provides insight into the 2026 October 17 theme:
“United for Peace and Human Rights: Safe Homes for All”
It includes dozens of powerful testimonies and key ideas shared during the consultation. It is also a very helpful resource to prepare for the Day’s commemoration.
