Member of the ATD Fourth World Volunteer Corps
His history with the World Day to Overcome Extreme Poverty has started since October 17, 1987, at the Trocadero. The conviction that poverty is a violation of human rights has led him to constantly seek that people from all walks of life unite to ensure that these rights are respected, with priority given to those living in situations of extreme poverty, whether in local or international responsibilities.

From 2008 to 2014, with the team of the Forum on overcoming extreme poverty, he was the coordinator of the International Committee October 17. Since 2015, with his wife Véronique, they have been exploring initiatives to fight against poverty in Central and Eastern European countries, starting in Sofia (Bulgaria), by going to meet committed people and groups. Understanding the levers used to fight against poverty also involves “acting together” which brings them into a daily life with people living in extreme poverty.
From November 2022, he will be part of the National Delegation of the Movement ATD Fourth World in France.
