Dublin - Saturday 17 October 2020 - Online event

This year, due to the pandemic restrictions, the Irish 17 October Committee will be organising an online event through Zoom to mark the UN International End Poverty Day on Saturday, 17 October at 11am.

In so far as possible given the constraints, the Committee will endeavour to be true to the spirit of the annual event held at the Human Rights and Poverty Stone in Dublin, including the participation and voice of people with lived experience of poverty and inequality.

The global theme for this year's commemoration is: Acting together to achieve social and environmental justice for all. In Ireland, this will be complemented by our slogan: For a just society & a sustainable future.
